My Team & New York City

Hi Friends:

As I was browsing through my laughter journal the other day I realized we hadn't talked in a while, so it's time to share some wonderful memories with you...

While performing in my Broadway Show "As Long As We Both Shall Laugh" I experienced the wonders of New York City and met many interesting people. I wanted to share that with my family, friends, and Branson staff. So I brought them to New York to see the show and do a little touring.

Upon their arrival I got a motorcoach and we all set out to experience New York City. We visited the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, the Empire State building and toured through the many different parts of the City. It was a cold and windy day but New York was beautiful and vibrant.

Here is a photo of us at the Statue of Liberty.

Here is a photo of us at Ground Zero (the mural
behind us is the one I put up for the 9/11 Memorial Services.)

The next night was the Grand Opening Party for my show and it was a star studded night. Here's some of the surprise guests my staff enjoyed meeting...

Okay...you guessed it...we enjoyed Madam Tussaud's Wax Museum and had fun with the stars! As you might guess we returned to Branson worn out but with great memories.

Right now, I'm doing shows in Branson at 3:00 PM, Wednesday through Saturday, during July and August. Country Music Superstar Pam Tillis is also doing shows at my theater on Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00 PM and on Sundays at 3:00 PM. She says she's having a blast at my place (and she thought all the good ones were gone)! For me it's wonderful to be able to live my dreams and be surrounded by wonderful people I work with. So until I see you again, may your days also be spent with people you like and your life surrounded by love and laughter!

Your friend,
Yakov Smirnoff
